Senate governance report out today

KIGALI - A report compiled by a group of professors on political space, political pluralism and power sharing in Rwanda will be tabled in the Senate today. The report was commissioned by the Senate nine months ago.

KIGALI - A report compiled by a group of professors on political space, political pluralism and power sharing in Rwanda will be tabled in the Senate today.
The report was commissioned by the Senate nine months ago. 

According to the Chairman on the senatorial standing committee on governance and political affairs, Joseph Karemera, the senate will be reviewing the report and looking at issues regarding political space, political pluralism and power sharing in the country as instructed by the constitution.

"The research was conducted throughout the country. in all districts; different categories of people were interviewed and all their views are highlighted in the report,” Karemera said.

Karemera, however, did not give any details in the report saying that facts will have to be tabled before the Senate first.
