Rwanda’s celebrated R&B singer, Tom Close organised a concert on Sunday February 28 at CHUK, which attracted many well-wishers.
Tom Close was accompanied by his fellow local celebrities, including artists, "Misses” and a footballer; they turned up in huge numbers to give hope to the patients.
Thrilling performances were directed by upcoming artists; Young Junior, Just Family, The Brothers and Tom Close.
The event, which was aimed at giving hope to the patients, was characterised by smiles and giggles, as patients couldn’t help but throw their hands in the air as the music infiltrated them.
Tom Close also offered sanitary materials and clothes to the needy patients. Very many well-wishers fundraised and different companies, including banks offered their contribution to support CHUK’s patients.
