Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve – Napoleon Hill

Dreamers are often viewed with derision by ordinary people. That statement could mean that dreamers are people who are not in their right minds and so ought to be kept out in the woods by the rest of the right minded ordinary people. But let’s explore the other side of the coin.

‘Right minded ordinary people’ are the same who wake up everyday to take a reality check about their life, their limits and what they cannot be.

They concentrate on maintaining the status quo. The status quo reads like less than five percent of world population really own the factors of production employ the rest of the people and actually lead the world.

Now do you still want to deride dreamers and remain ordinary? I bet the answer is no. Dreamers do not like remaining in the fold. One Winston Churchill, the former prime minister of Great Britain was asked how he made it big when he was actually a school dropout.

He answered that the problem was not that he was failing to answer the teacher’s questions instead the teachers were asking him the wrong questions.

He went on to add that ‘My education was interrupted only by my schooling.” One such wrongheaded fellow and a personal idol is a fellow known as Albert Einstein, perhaps the most important physicist of the twentieth century because of his theory of relativity.

A dull student by many accounts, he resorted to private schooling because of the failure to adapt his mind to the education system to become one of the most brilliant mathematicians of his time. Yet all he had to say was that the only thing that interfered with his learning was his education.

One of his most famous quotes goes, "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

If the world had no dreamers we would not have the light bulb. Thomas Edison did 10,000 experiments and at one time his laboratory got burnt down destroying all his work but all he had to say the next morning was "There is great value in disaster.

All our mistakes are burned up. Thank God we can start anew.” On being asked if he regretted the long road to the invention of the bulb, he said that he was happy to have discovered thousands ways of how the bulb could not work.

The important thing is that first if you think you are not made to be ordinary, you have got to stand above the fray. If everybody is fighting to buy a nice car you should be thinking about being the guy who will be selling the nice cars to them.

If everyone wants to live a good comfortable life, you should be dreaming a great inspiring life. If you manage to set yourself into a great mindset then you give yourself the benefit of not just imagining but managing to turn those imaginations into a physical reality.

Mind less about the aimless clutter of charter by ordinary people. Do not let yourself be pulled down by ordinary criticism let alone your temporary failures being used against you and your ambitions by people who are too afraid to try themselves.

Your temporary failures are yours alone and above all are for you to learn from as you adjust or change the path to the same desired reality you have conceived in your imaginations.

I wish you a stimulated Sunday.
