R&B singer Tom Close will perform at Kigali Health Centre (CHK), on Sunday February 28, during the hospital’s annual Patient’s Day.

According to his manager, Alex Muyoboke, Tom composed, "Siko Bizahora”, a song that carries a message of comfort and hope for the patients.

He will be accompanied by famous local celebrities, ranging from artists, musicians, footballers and ‘Misses’.

In an interview, Tom disclosed that the visit is aimed at promoting the culture of charity among Rwandan celebrities.

"It’s our responsibility as celebrities to pay back to the community through social activities,” Tom urged.

"I’ve been doing this all the time; last year I staged a concert in Butare and donated the money I collected to an orphanage in Gitarama,” he added.
