I really wonder what exactly you might be thinking about the whole idea of ‘education’, why it’s super important if one wants to be called successful. And even when many of us youngsters don’t have it on top of our ‘likes’ list, there’s still an urge to acquire it! Well, I know that happens when one is conscious of its fruitful benefit ahead.

I believe education impacts knowledge and fits us into this world of today. It liberates the mind and broadens the platform for our thinking by going past our social and economic boundaries.
I think without it, the world doesn’t seem any wider than what our eyes can see or ears have heard, unless when we exploit it.
Education is actually a major tool to expand and extend our horizons, such as traveling and getting in touch with the world and go as far as crossing boarders and continents.
From school, we’ve also built friendships and met people who’ve become our ‘rocks’ in life. We’ve connected with people from different parts of the world through our work, ideas, abilities, etc which we weren’t born with but rather educated about!
Many parents have managed to raise successful children and built strong family bonds through both formal and informal education.
I believe that education is all about gaining knowledge and wisdom that brings value to your life in order for you to share it with the world. It’ an endless journey of learning, understanding more, being better as well as teaching, influencing and exchanging it with others.
A successful education is in fact a good tribute to all parents, guardians, teachers and all who contribute in some way.
Whatever field of education, intellectual, practical, creative or physical education a.k.a P.E, there is always a flicker of pride when one becomes a professional sportsman/woman, doctor, artist or writer.
By the way, skilled labor comes directly from education. It’s an asset you own forever and no one can rob from you. You may lose all your property, but your education will always remain, it will take you places.
Meaning there is always a chance for you in this life once you have an education. What better inheritance than a good education?
However, I must also agree that just like everything else, modern education has done some harm to this world regarding technology and its influence. But if we were to put it on a scale, I think the advantages weigh heavier than the disadvantages that are avoidable as well as controllable.
Millions of people, not far from you right now, are desperate for a miracle of education and wish upon ‘luck’ to acquire the very education some of us are privileged to have, yet sometimes take for granted. I say exploit your chance while you still can.
I agree with a particular statement I heard my dad say, "if you think education is so difficult, then try ignorance!”
