Baby Wonder graces the cover of the SundayMag, which honours those who have made an impact in the Rwandan community.

Wonder opens up about being an influential artist, the influence of his talent and his objective in the trade.

"Becoming a music icon and putting Rwandan showbiz on the international entertainment charts is my wildest dream,” Wonder tells the Magazine.

"It excites me to think that I can be capable of changing opinions, and contributing to the development of Rwanda’s music industry.”

Wonder also talks about wanting to return to Rwanda to re-launch his musical career and shift his Kampala based Tambo Studioz to Kigali.

"My plan is to settle here. I want to join hands with local artists and take Rwandan music to the rest of East Africa,” said Wonder admitting that Rwandan music has not yet hit the regional market.

Singer/producer, (real name Amos Matsiko) claims that he is set to record a duet ‘Dream’ with the U.S Senegalese born star Akon, on Akon’s invitation.

Wonder, 22, who is brother to Sgt. Robert Kabera of the army jazz band, already has a number of songs to his name including "Ntutinye” whose video received good airtime on Ugandan televisions. His songs are a fusion of Kinyarwanda, Kishwahili, Luganda and English.
