The global economic crisis is on the wane and Africa hasn’t been in as much trouble as many people had predicated. One of the many reasons for this was the clever stewardship of the African Development Bank with Dr. Donald Kaberuka, Rwanda’s former Finance Minister, as its head.

This good leadership is now bearing fruits. So much so that he is currently set to get reelected to the same position without anyone standing against him.

This shows that he’s been appreciated by all and sundry. I wish him luck in his next term of office and sincerely hope that he will not have to deal with another global crisis.
