AS the tour of Cameroon edges closer to the half-way mark, Rwandan riders are beginning to enjoy the contest. Yesterday, Team Rwanda’s Abraham Ruhumuriza won the fourth stage while Slovakia cyclist Milan Barenyi retained the overall lead.

The four-time Tour of Rwanda won the 141.5km stage in a time of 3 hours, 51 minutes and 14 seconds, beating closest challenger Barenyi by three seconds.

It is the second victory by a Rwandan, after Gasore Hategeka’s win on Wednesday (stage three).
