"Wherever you watch from doesn’t matter, all that I care is receiving the message and enjoying the movies,” says Bosco Nsengiyaremye. He is one of the crown surrounding MZ,a local movie studio in Biryogo,Nyamirambo.

One can barely stand the heat and the smell from the congested movie enthusiasts. They push through the tiny door like they are chasing after a lifetime opportunity.

Screaming at the top of their voices, the lad collecting entrance fee is left with no option other than letting the mob in free of charge.

"Is it force that applies all the time, then how do you earn,” I inquisitively ask.

With a smile, John   Kwibuka tells me about his awesome earning.

"A movie goes for 100 rwf, on a good day, I screen four movies and get an audience of more than 200 people.Thats quite a deal,” he explains.

Nyamirambo is one area where cheap cinemas are existent. Either dub it on Nyamirambo vibrancy but brothers are earning big money out of showing movies. Ranging from romantic movies to action movies, people will still watch.

"Jackie Chan is my man,” explains little Nelson.
He goes against all odds to cone money out of his parents to watch ‘Agasobanurire’like its called.

"I distaste modern cinemas; they pretend that everyone understands French or English. Nothing like translations,” one guy says.

Cinestar cinema is the big thing in Nyamirambo though people don’t co-operate all that good.

"We are still in the process of getting people used to the modern way of exhibiting movies,” says Said Ntaganda Mohammed, Cinestar Cinema.

In Cinester, the best movie goes for 1000 rwf though many still prefer the Gasobanurire.

As they watch on, Ibuka can’t wait for the world cup to make lots of money through showing movies.
