AFTER holding APR to a 2-all draw on Saturday, Recreativo do Libolo head coach Mariano Barreto now believes that his team can finish off the job when the two sides meet in Luanda for the return leg of the 2010 Orange Champions League.

The second leg is slated for February 27 and Barreto reckons Recreativo have the upper hand.

"Scoring two goals away from home is a good result and we hope to build on it in Angola,” he said.

"I must commend my players for the way they crawled back in the game. We now know how APR plays so we are going to concentrate on ways of breaking them down,” the Portuguese tactician noted.

Recreativo, who were at half-strength in Kigali hope to assemble a much more improved side in Luanda after reports that six of their key players will be back from injury.

"We missed the likes of Rasca, Ze Kalanga, Chinho, Edson Nobre, Jose Lopes de Figueiredo and Serginho but we hope they will be back in the side for the return leg.” APR’s goals were scored by Kabange Twite and Malawi international Victor Nyirenda while Afonso Fuxito came from the bench to score Recreativo’s two goals.

The winner of the two-legged contest will go on to play reigning African champions TP Mazembe of DRC.
