MUKURA’s problems don’t seem to be easing after a recent meeting between the playing staff and club management failed to resolve anything. The meeting was convened after the players decision to boycott training on grounds of not being paid on time, playing without contracts and failure to receive their signing on fees.

The meeting was convened after the players decision to boycott training on grounds of not being paid on time, playing without contracts and failure to receive their signing on fees.
After the meeting, Mukura’s interim president Fidele Gakuba told Times Sport that the two parties failed to reach a mutual agreement and that the players will not be returning to training.
"It is still a complex situation but we hope that it will ease up once we elect a new committee this Saturday.”
The Southern Province side, who reached last year’s MTN Peace Cup final, remain at the foot of the league table with a mere nine points.
