The country’s top brewer and beverage manufacturer, Bralirwa, has received the Coca Cola Company 2009 Golden Award for Quality. This comes barely weeks after the company was recognized by Rwanda Development Board (RDB) as Rwanda best performer in 2009 in the General Manufacturing category.
The country’s top brewer and beverage manufacturer, Bralirwa, has received the Coca Cola Company 2009 Golden Award for Quality.
This comes barely weeks after the company was recognized by Rwanda Development Board (RDB) as Rwanda best performer in 2009 in the General Manufacturing category.
The award is the highest possible recognition any company dealing in Coca Cola products can ever get.
This and other quality awards were given to Coca Cola bottling companies operating in East and Central Africa which excelled in complying with Coca Cola’s requirements regarding quality of products and packaging, environment and occupational safety and health.
According to Bralirwa’s Managing Director, Sven Piederiet, the company is very proud of the award as ‘Passion for Quality’ is one of the company core values.
"As a private company, we truly believe that it is our responsibility to implement Rwandan and international standards and regulations, and indeed our commitment at respecting our core values has brought us to the compliance of those standards,” said Piederiet.
”I sincerely congratulate all the people who made this happen and who make us very proud of being such an excellent performer”, he declared adding that Bralirwa will continue to raise its performances for the sake of its consumers.
Bralirwa is a holder of The Coca Cola Company license since 1974.
