KIGALI - Long serving Member of Parliament, Judith Kanakuze, who died on Sunday, will be buried tomorrow.
Her burial was confirmed by the Deputy Speaker Jean Damascene Ntawukuriryayo yesterday but he did not reveal further details.

"There will be no business on Wednesday, the entire parliament will mourn Kanakuze; there will be an official function for honouring her in Parliament,” said Ntawukuriryayo.

He added that details of all functions for her burial are yet to be released.

Prior to her passing away, Kanakuze has been a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Gender and Family Promotion. She held several leadership posts in various institutions and in the Parliament. She died at 51.
