MTN Peace Cup draws set for Monday

CLUBS who made it past the first round of this year’s MTN Peace Cup will know their second round opponents in Monday’s draw, which will be held at the national football federation (Ferwafa) headquarters in Remera. Fourteen clubs ranging from reigning champions Atraco, Mukura, APR, Electrogaz, Amagaju, Interforce, Pepiniere, National University of Rwanda (UNR), ISAE, Rayon Sports, Police, Mukura, Kiyovu and Musanze are through to the second round of the lucrative tournament where the winner will represent Rwanda at next year’s Orange Confederation Cup.

Aspor suffered the heaviest defeat of the preliminary round after a 10-0 mauling from APR in the return leg.
Atraco won last year’s edition after a 1-0 win over Mukura.
