RWANDA Amateur Boxing Association (Raba) has summoned 30 boxers from different clubs across the country to start preparations ahead of a boxing tournament with DRC on February 21 in Kigali.

Raba Secretary General Eugene Ndashyikirwa says that the pre-selected boxers will have daily training sessions at Amahoro Stadium.

"The DRC meet will help our boxers keep in shape for upcoming continental and international bouts,” Ndashyikirwa said.

The summoned boxers include;
Seniors: Matusi Haziza (48kgs), Olivier Shingiro (51kg) Jean Marie Nsengiyumva (57kg), Michel Gashumba (57kg), David Nsabimana (60kg), Alfred Uwizeyimana (64kg), Diogene Tuyisenge (64kg), Jean Pierre Gatera (69kg) Theoneste Gakunzi (64kg), Moustapha Mpakaniye (64kg), Vincent Nsengiyumva (75kg), Henry Mulisa (75kg), Sellema Kingabo (64kg), Eric Baributsa (48kg), Saleh Butoyi (51kg), Alex Nzeyumuremyi (64kg), Silah Nsengumuremyi (69kg), Emmanuel Muhumuza (60kg), Jean Maurice Bikorimana (69kg), Hamza Tuyishimire (69kg), Pascal Sibomana (60kg) and Niyitegeka Sibomana (60kg).

Juniors: Munyanziza Sumayire, Jean Pierre Kiza, Alex Ndungutse, Rashid Munyurangabo, Olivier Tuyishime, Alid Niyigena, Deo Uwihanganye and Richard Nshimiyimana.
