Rwanda’s ace athlete Disi Dieudonne has left for South America ahead of Sunday’s Puerto Rico half marathon.
Disi, who turns 30 in November, has been training with some of Kenyan’s top athletes in Eldoret (about 300km from Nairobi), Kenyan and believes he can put in a good display.
"This is a very busy year for me and it would be great to start it on a good note,” the athlete said before his departure.
Disi, who skipped last month’s Abu Dhabi marathon, sees the Puerto Rico half marathon as a perfect build up for the forth coming 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, Paris, Rotterdam and London marathons respectively.
