KIGALI - Rwanda’s RnB star Tom Close has reportedly landed himself a lifetime chance to promote his music career. Tom has joined Goodlyfe, a Ugandan entertainment crew, being the first Rwandan artist to work with the group. “Tom is a talented and inventive artist. He is obviously a nice guy, and a friend to the group. We’re happy to have as our ambassador to Rwanda,” Radio, the crew’s RnB crooner told The New Times.

Tom has joined Goodlyfe, a Ugandan entertainment crew, being the first Rwandan artist to work with the group.
"Tom is a talented and inventive artist. He is obviously a nice guy, and a friend to the group. We’re happy to have as our ambassador to Rwanda,” Radio, the crew’s RnB crooner told The New Times.
"Our collaboration with Tom is based on mutual understanding, and it’s aimed at strengthening the relationship between Ugandan and Rwandan artists.”
Radio, real names Moses Nakintije, further urged local artists to mixture regional languages in their songs, in order to attract a massive fans base in the region.
"The opportunity has given me potential and responsibility to promote Rwanda’s music industry,” Tom said.
"I respect Goodlyfe, and it has been my dream to work with experienced and talented musicians.”
The 2009 Best RnB Artiste hit the music charts in 2008, ushering in a music revolution that has taken Rwandans by storm.
