MADE CALL: Senator Rwigamba Balinda

Kiyovu residents have been called upon to embrace Rwandan heroes’ heritage and imitate their deeds.

The call was made yesterday by Senator Rwigamba Barinda while officiating at the celebrations to mark this year’s National Heroes’ day held at Kiyovu, a suburb of Kigali.

The Senator said patriotism is about having a vision, plans and commitments that positively impacts the whole society.

"These are traits developed and maintained by courage, patience and strengths to overcome one’s selfishness,” added Barinda.

He urged Kiyovu residents to value the cause for the fallen heroes by advancing common interests of a united country.
