9-YBE classrooms commissioned in Kinyinya

Despite the hardships in accomplishing the 9-Year Basic Education programme, four classroom blocks constructed under the progamme were officially unveiled in Gasabo District, Kinyinya sector.

The Minister in charge of the East African Community Affairs, Monique Mukaruriza, presided over the function held in Kagugu cell.

She congratulated the residents for their contribution in making the programme a reality.

"The accomplishment of these classrooms reflects your efforts, unity and the love you have for the country,” said Mukaruriza.

Residents in Kagugu and Gacuriro cells contributed Rwf20m to the programme while government also gave Rwf20 million.

Kagugu primary school was the first school in the district to complete the construction of 9-YBE classrooms.
