The Gender Ministry together with the City of Kigali held an anti-GBV awareness campaign on Sunday with people walking from BK Arena to the Kigali Convention Centre.
The 16 days campaign to raise awareness about GBV happens every year from November 25 as the world observes the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, until December 10, which marks Human Rights' Day.
The car free day event saw hundreds of mostly young people get tested for Non-Communicable Diseases, besides sports and other interactions.
