Christian Hatumimana, the tournament’s coordinator confirmed the changes yesterday saying that the dates were rescheduled to give the sponsors enough time to stage a grand closing ceremony at Amahoro indoor courts were the finals will be staged.
Lycee de Kigali (LDK)’s boys’ team who cruised to a three straight set victory over ESSJT will clash with Ecole Secondaire Kicukiro (ESK) while their girls’ counterparts challenge IFAK in the female category.
ESK made it to the final after a 3-1 set victory over St. Andrews while IFAK rumbled into the finals with a 3-0 sets victory over ETSJ.
The tournament started back in September and it is said that Bralirwa has splashed over Frw 3million in the competition as one way of promoting its Coca-Cola brand.
Also, 380 school bags, thousands of books and about Frw 740,000 has been won by students from Coca-cola bottle tops.
