KARONGI – Students at Kigali Health Institute (KHI) have been called upon to be patriotic and hardworking in order to achieve their goals.
The call was made yesterday by Dr Chantal Kabagabo, KHI vice rector in charge of academic affairs and research, while closing the orientation week for new students at the Nyamishaba Campus in Karongi district.
She further urged them to develop close relationships with their teachers since this is the only way to understand what they are taught.
"You should create friendship with your teachers, encourage good communication with them if you are to benefit from them,” Kabagabo said.
She also urged the students to desist from any forms of temptations that may alter their attention from the main purpose of education.
According to Jonas Rugema, the coordinator of the campus in the western region, a total of 494 students have been admitted in the New academic year.
