"East, west, home is the best!” Those are the words Baby Wander (real name Matsiko) told The New Times in a recent interview.

Baby Wander, a Rwandan singer/producer based in Uganda is planning to return in the country after years in the Diaspora.

He is a brother to Sergeant Robert Kabera, a famous artist in Rwanda.

Baby Wander is the director of "Tamboo Crue”, which comprises of artists like Shieza, Keiza, Hunter and DJ Crue. He has two albums "Ntutiinye”, and "Waca Waseme”.

Baby Wander recently shocked people, when he spread the news that he has received a courtesy invite by Senegalese’s U.S based music mogul Akon, to shoot a video "Dream” with him, becoming the first East African artist to collaborate with the star.

"Akon invited me to the US, to shoot the video with. I’m set to travel in August this year,” Baby Wander said in an overjoyed tone.

"This is a lifetime chance. It’s going to promote my career, as well as Rwanda’s music industry.”
