Equity Market

Yesterday the Rwanda OTC market recorded a turnover of Rwf34,400 from 200 KCB shares traded in one recorded transaction.  The KCB shares remained at Rwf172. At the end of the session, 1,015 shares were on offer and no buyers.

Tuesday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), a total of 247,000 shares were traded.  KCB shares traded within the range of Ksh23.00 (Rfw174) and Ksh22.50 (Rwf170) and closed at Ksh22.75 (Rfw172). The NSE All share index went up   -0.03 points to close at 79.99.

The Bond Market:

Today the bond market was quiet as no transactions were reported.  At the close of business, there were no buyers or sellers.  There were BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50 but no buyers.
