Kabaija puts pressure on classroom construction

NYAGATARE – The Governor of Eastern Province, Dr. Ephraim Kabayija has reiterated his call to local leaders in Karangazi sector in Nyagatare district to speeds up the construction of classrooms for nine-year basic education before the new academic year begins next Monday. The Governor was on Tuesday inspecting the construction works at Nyamirama  ‘Why is the construction process moving at a slow pace yet you have all the needed materials to complete classrooms? Were you not given everything?’ he asked Karangazi sector officials.

NYAGATARE – The Governor of Eastern Province, Dr. Ephraim Kabayija has reiterated his call to local leaders in Karangazi sector in Nyagatare district to speeds up the construction of classrooms for nine-year basic education before the new academic year begins next Monday.

The Governor was on Tuesday inspecting the construction works at Nyamirama

‘Why is the construction process moving at a slow pace yet you have all the needed materials to complete classrooms? Were you not given everything?’ he asked Karangazi sector officials.

‘You got enough money to complete these classrooms and if that money was mismanaged those in charge should be held accountable.’

Seven classrooms are being constructed at Nyamirama secondary school to support the 9 year basic education program.   

Karangazi sector Executive Secretary, Emmanuel Murenzi promised to put more effort in ensuring that the classrooms are completed before start of the new academic year.

‘We are going to make sure that by Sunday, these classrooms will be completed,’ he said.
