Once upon a time there lived a very strong king called Rama. His subjects feared him so much and never liked him at all. Every day, his servants told him that his people were complaining because they were not happy with him. Rama, the king wondered why his people never liked him.
Once upon a time there lived a very strong king called Rama. His subjects feared him so much and never liked him at all.
Every day, his servants told him that his people were complaining because they were not happy with him. Rama, the king wondered why his people never liked him.
He became so bitter that he decided to do what he wanted. He did not care whether all the people liked him or not, he was their king.
King Rama always went to the villages and took away people’s things. He did this because he knew that no one had the power to stop him.
One day he woke up and called his people from all the villages for a meeting. He told them that they had no choice but do what he wanted because he was their king and their leader. After that meeting, everyone disliked him.
The people cried so much and asked God to give them a person that would challenge their king’s actions.
On night when the king slept he dreamed of a man as strong as him. In his dream he fought with the man but no one won because they were equally strong.
When Rama woke up in the morning he told his mother about the dream. His mother told him that there is someone that is going to come and challenge him
One morning while he walked through the village everyone ran away from him but one man did not move an inch. Rama called him out and asked him why he didn’t move yet he had seen the king coming.
They started fighting immediately and Rama did not remember his dream. They fought hard and long and none of them won. Rama was now surprised at the strength of the man who was his equal.
He started laughing and they became friends. The stranger told him that his people needed to be treated well. He told him that even though the King was the most powerful man in the village, he needed to earn respect because of his deeds and not his position as King.
The people were very happy to see that their king had become a better and changed man. They started loving him so much and always respected him. They gave King Rama everything they wanted to offer him out of love.
