APR don’t have kind words for indisciplined players. Abbas Rassou, Didier Kapet and Xavier Cedric have all been suspended on grounds of indiscipline.

APR Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa confirmed the development yesterday saying that the suspended period is yet to be known.

"For now, the three have been suspended but they could also be fined,” Kalisa said.

A travel ban has also been slapped on the trio. It is reported that the club management has alerted the concerned authorities at Kigali International Airport and all border posts not to allow the trio to leave the country.

Cedric and Kapet were punished for their coarse behaviour during Sunday’s 2-all draw against Rayon Sport.  Cedric was penalized for kicking a water bottle after being substituted for Bokota Labama while Kapet, who was at fault for Rayon’s two goals stormed the dressing room after being replaced by new signing Chamanga Mwembu early on in the second half.

Meanwhile, Abbas Rassou, APR’s captain and one of the most celebrated players in the league at the moment, is suspended for illicit behaviour. The prolific striker, who has re-ignited Amavubi’s striking line, is reported to have been spending more time with his female fans than on the football pitch.

The striker was not even on the substitution list for Sunday’s crunch tie.

As for defender John Karangwa, he has been told to try his luck elsewhere after failing to impress APR coach Erik Paske.

Kalisa said, "Karangwa has not lived up to our expectations and so we have had to let him go.”

Karangwa, who made one appearance throughout the first half of the season, was signed from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) last August for Rwf8.3m.
