RWANDA’s Celestin Ntagungira a.k.a Abegga will officiate today’s Africa Nations Cup quarter-final clash between defending champions Egypt and four-time champions Cameroon at Benguela stadium, Angola.

South Africa’s Jerome Damon will be the centre referee while Ntagungira and Enoch Molefe will run the show on the sidelines.

It will be Ntagungira’s fourth game of the tournament. At the preliminary stage, he officiated in Mozambique’s 2-all draw against Benin, Ivory Coast’s 3-1 win over Ghana and Malawi’s 3-1 defeat against Mali.   Abegga looks at Nations Cup as a lee-way to the upcoming Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

The 43-year-old has gained vast experience on the international scene after officiating at the 2006 and 2008 CAN as well as 2006 World Cup.
