Many people couldn’t understand why Rwanda was working so hard to enter the Commonwealth, a group that was dominated by former colonies of the British Empire.

Well, I hope that those people heard of the Commonwealth’s plans to partner with Rwanda in various sectors.

The Commonwealth pledged to support its newest member, Rwanda, to improve in several areas; including the judiciary, economy, media, education, good governance and many other institutions that are the backbone of development.

These kinds of endeavors prove that joining this club was the right decision. Now, all I can hope is that these plans are going to be implemented quickly.
