“Happiness… we all run after it and wonder how many find it and actually how many know when they have found it. For most human beings live in anticipation of tomorrow or in the remembrance of yesterday. It is only the strong that hold grip of today and they love it…” said the queen of Romania in her book ‘Straining after tomorrow’s joy’ Last year you made resolutions and laid strategies on how to make your life better but you were not even close to satisfying any of them.
"Happiness… we all run after it and wonder how many find it and actually how many know when they have found it.
For most human beings live in anticipation of tomorrow or in the remembrance of yesterday. It is only the strong that hold grip of today and they love it…” said the queen of Romania in her book ‘Straining after tomorrow’s joy’
Last year you made resolutions and laid strategies on how to make your life better but you were not even close to satisfying any of them.
This year you thought you would make better ones to see if you will accomplish your dreams but you still feel like you are running after wind.
You have roamed on streets looking for some one or may be some thing to try and make your self happy but all in vain.
Ever wondered if in any way you offended God… no you could be wrong God does not forsake his people; so the preachers say.
You have gone to church several times to ask God to forgive you if you have sinned against him but you have seen no results yet, you wonder if you do not pray so well or you don’t know how to pray at all.
It is not only you that seems to run after the impossible, so many of run after happiness, straining to get some joy that might come tomorrow or even the day after, there by over looking the happiness lying within our grip.
Some other people have decided to shut them selves out of the realities of life so as to ignore all the grief, they have built screens around themselves and have only left blinkers to only see the happy side of life.
Those that imagine themselves born with joy can never see neither the blinkers nor the screen they build around themselves when grief strikes, down they fall with their house of joy; they are torn apart because they can not stand the realities that come with grief.
Grief is only part of us we simply have to learn to live with it and make possible plans of making life better.
Happiness can not be grasped neither can it come to us in a concrete form and beside its face changes with time, what you wanted last year is not what you will want next year may be it is not what you actually want right now.
One thing that should be well known to us is that happiness can be found any where and every where you can find it in the eyes of a man that breaks stones by the side of the road but you can fail to find it in the eyes of a millionaire comfortably seated at his table struggling to do nothing.
Unless it comes right from inside your soul you will not feel happy even when you have all the riches.
