Moroccan national team head coach Walid Regragui is confident that his team can go far in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Atlas Lions picked wins against Belgium and Canada and had a draw with Croatia to top Group F with 7 points.

Morocco will face Spain in the round of 16 and coach Regragui is sure they can get far in the tournament.

"We don't want to stop there, we want to be a tough team to play. We have to realize what we are capable of. We are realistic, but we will go there game after game so as to not get overwhelmed and if we give 100%, we are capable of great things," he stated in the press conference after the 2-1 win over Canada.

Morocco has been at the World Cup six times with their best being a round of 16 berth in the Mexico 1986 edition.
