Equity Market

Yesterday on the Rwanda OTC market activity was quiet as no transactions were recorded.  The KCB shares remained at Rwf 169. At the end of the session, 2,215 shares were on offer and no buyers.

Tuesday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, a total of 2,359,200 shares were traded.  KCB shares traded within the range of Ksh24.00 (Rfw180) and Ksh22.50 (Rwf169) and closed at Ksh23.25 (Rfw174). The NSE All share index went up  + 1.16 points to close at 81.61.

The Bond Market:

No transaction was recorded on the bond market.  At the close of the business, there were no offers or bids on the government bonds counter.  There were BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50 but no buyers.
