Kigali City Council should cover the large and deep manholes before a Rwandan falls victim. Most of the manholes are located on the side walks and in corners that is quite not easy for a rushing pedestrian to notice.

The manholes could also be used for victimization by thieves or even be a dumping place for the dwellers. So the authorities should make sure that no body falls victim to the uncovered manholes.

And warn those who open them for sanitary reasons to always cover them after.
