The USA shouldn’t act like the world policeman on the issue of gays
Editor, The world’s number one human rights defender and promoter of fundamental freedoms, USA, does not allow homosexuals into its army. They have a policy they call the ‘don’t ask, dont tell’, where if someone is allowed in the military as long as they don’t tell anyone that they are gay. Yet, these are the same people who are telling Ugandans they should make their legislation more ‘gay friendly’.

Editor,
The world’s number one human rights defender and promoter of fundamental freedoms,USA, does not allow homosexuals into its army.
They have a policy they call the ‘don’t ask, dont tell’, where if someone is allowed in the military as long as they don’t tell anyone that they are gay.
Yet, these are the same people who are telling Ugandans they should make their legislation more ‘gay friendly’.
I don’t think Ugandans should simply bow down to their wishes just because of their aid.
