Man in jail for defiling niece
KARONGI – A 20year old man in Bwishyura Sector, Karongi district has been arrested for allegedly defiling his brother’s 7-year-old daughter. Pierre Nyandwi, was handed over to police by his brother, Froduald Nzabonimpa, shortly after the incidence occurred. Speaking to The New Times at Bwishyura Police station, Nyandwe denied the allegations.

KARONGI – A 20year old man in Bwishyura Sector, Karongi district has been arrested for allegedly defiling his brother’s 7-year-old daughter.
Pierre Nyandwi, was handed over to police by his brother, Froduald Nzabonimpa, shortly after the incidence occurred.
Speaking to The New Times at Bwishyura Police station, Nyandwe denied the allegations.
"It is a false accusation because at that time I was not even at home.” Nyandwi said.
A medical report to verify the allegations is being conducted. If convicted, the accused stands to face up to 25 years in jail.
