POLICE FC can keep pressure on the top three if they win today’s game against Electrogaz at Mumena stadium.
Police, who have amassed 17 points from their opening nine games are only three points behind league leaders APR and Etincelles, who are jointly tied on 20 points.
Police head coach Jean Paul Munyankindi, who saw his side snatch a deserved 2-1 victory over Mukura on Saturday believes his team can break the dominance of APR, Atraco and Rayon.
"We should not be ruled out of the title race. We are focused on making a genuine challenge this year and our performances so far point in that direction,” he said.
"We know that we have to continue winning our games and we are confident that we can take all three points against Electrogaz.”
Electrogaz march into today’s tie on the back of a 2-2 draw against a weak Amagaju side. After nine matches, Electrogaz are in 7th place with 11 points.
