Music fans—especially R. Kelly’s die hards, have all reasons to end the month in good spirits. Showtime Tours n Travel, a local company is set to make your dream come true.

The company is organising travel and accommodation arrangements for Rwandans to attend the "I Believe Concert” in Kampala, and witness US born, and probably the world’s most famous artist perform live.

"This is the first time R. Kelly is performing in East Africa, and the third time in Africa, having performed in South Africa and Nigeria mid last year,” the Executive Director of Showtime Tours n Travel Genza Mcdavi, told The New Times.  "As event promoters we’ve a duty to give our Rwandan fans the best in entertainment. If we can’t have it here, we’ll take you where it’s happening,”

Genza added that the company has hired nice and comfy coasters for the road trip (to and return).

The travel package to the concert is in two different categories: Rfw130, 000 and Rfw200,000 for VIP accomodation and tickets. Bookings will be made at some of Kampala’s most comfy Guest Houses (self-contained, Internet connected, TV and Bed and Breakfast), and Grand Imperial Hotel – Kampala, respectively.

However, Genza said the difference in the packages will depend on someone’s preference of accommodation.
For those who want to fly, the charges are Rfw450, 000, including airport pickup to a 5-star hotel.

Robert Sylvester Kelly, a.k.a R.Kelly, is famous for tracks, including "I Believe I Can Fly”, "I’m Your Angel”, "Public Announcement”, "Burn It Up” and "Thoia Thong.”

The gig is organised by Zain, and over 40,000 fans are expected, including those from other East African countries.

According to sources from Kampala, Zain has put up a promotion in which customers will decide which local artistes will perform alongside R.Kelly.

The artists on the list include; Chameleone, Bebe Cool, GNL Zamba, Radio and Weasle, Iryn Namubiru, Peter Miles, Aziz Azion, Grace Nakimera, Lady Mariam, Toniks, Cindy and The Obsessions. Unfortunately, artists from other East African countries will not have chance to perform along the music ace.
