Rwandan small forward Dieudonné Ndizeye has joined Étoile Sportive du Sahel, a Tunisian basketball club on a one-year contract.
The 26-year-old who most recently featured for local side Patriots Basketball Club confirmed the development to Times Sport on Thursday, December 1.
He has already started training with his new teammates.
"I am glad to be part of this team. After doing a two-day trial and passing it, this Thursday I had my first training session with my teammates," he said.
He referred to his new job as "a big challenge" that requires him to put in a lot of effort.
"I believe it will help me improve my level of play.”
Ndizeye was one of the players that put up a great display this year as the Patriots finished second in the Rwanda Basketball League.
For a couple of years, he was one of the top players in the country, thanks to his skill and work ethic.
In 2019, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the league.
He has featured in two editions of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and was a key player for Patriots, in 2021, and REG (2022).
