Most of us ladies become conscious of our fashion distaste when we hit our forties. Firstly, the way you dress. You should dress well. This not only means being clean and tidy, but dress appropriately for the occasion and your age.  A married woman and a mother of children should always choose clothes that are not too revealing. Be aware of what is in fashion, meaning color and style.

 I do not mean just putting everything that is in fashion on your body. Be wise, wear what suits you. Dress yourself so that it makes you look smart.

When buying your clothes, choose clothes that fit well and  those that compliment your height, shape and skin tone.  It can be very embarrassing when a heavy built woman wears very tight clothes, which shows all the contours on her body. Well fitting clothes gives a woman that regal look.

Choosing fabrics. It is very important to choose the right fabrics for your clothes and occasion of which that particular outfit will be worn. For example it can be very embarrassing to choose a wool dress for summer. So when buying an outfit it is good to have an idea of when to wear that piece of cloth. Cotton clothes are always recommended.

Have clothes for each occasion. Have clothes for church evening wear, weddings, parties, office wear and weekend wear. Do not wear an evening dress to the office. That is a fashion disaster.

Every woman must have accessories. Three pairs of shoes  black, brown and white slip- ons are very important, these colors can match many clothes. Two hand bags a black and brown  are a must. A black clutch bag can match any evening wear. Every girl needs a pearl necklace and earings to match, not forgetting a beautiful watch to finish off that look.

Be knowledgeable. This means, educate yourself about daily news and events, politics, wine, movie and I mean everything. Remember not to blab on about something that you do not have knowledge in. It doesn’t make you sound or look good instead it make you sound and look stupid. It is important not to make up things. If you haven’t been to a place or haven’t done that sort of things, just be honest to yourself and other people. Other people would appreciate your honestly if you truly be yourself and just yourself.

When it comes to a conversation about you, be honest again. Do not elaborate about yourself. Let people ask you the questions and just go with the flow.
