HAVING suffered the heart break of losing the league title on the last day of last season, APR Coach Egidia Kayitesi is determined to guide her team to glory this campaign after dipping into the transfer market.

APR failed to defend their trophy due to an inferior goal difference against rivals AS Kigali and that is something that Kayitesi is determined to curtail.

"We have been preparing well for the new season, and every one in the club is determined to do their part in reclaiming the trophy.

We have identified five players whom we want to add to the squad but I cannot reveal them now,” Kayitesi said.

But we want two strikers, a defender, midfielder and a goal keeper.

The new season kicks off this Sunday and ten teams are expected to take part. They include AS Kigali, APR, Musanze, Aspej, Bugesera, Rayon Sport, Inyemera, Les Lioness, Rubavu and La Jeunesse.
