Last Friday, a young couple dining at Republika Lounge in Kiyovu, treated other diners to drama.

At first, everything was perfect, the couple whispered sweet nothings to each other—but as they were about to top it up with a kiss, something strange happened.

A guy dressed in faded blues jeans with a maroon jacket, walked to the couple’s table and said to the girl, "Hey cutie, can I’ve the honour to greet you.” He pulled her hand and kissed it.

The sight was unbearable for the man. He shot up from his seat and yelled to the guy; "What the hell do you think you’re doing!”

As he was about to throw a punch, he realised it was actually an old friend. He returned his punch and they hugged. He later introduced his long lost old friend to his diner date.
