GATSIBO – Police in Gasange sector in Gatsibo district, on Thursday discovered a dead body of a man lying in Lake Muhazi.

According to Oswald Nyakana, Gasange sector Executive Secretary, the man, who was identified as Emile Terambere was discovered by residents who were fishing in the wee hours of the morning.

‘Residents who were fishing found a dead body and immediately tipped off the Police,’ he said.

A source at Kabarore Police post said that the deceased was a resident of Fumbwe sector in Rwamagana district.
‘We are carrying out investigations to find out the cause of his death,’ said the source.

Nyakana further added that burial arrangements are underway for the deceased.
