On the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) a total of 58, 000 KCB shares were traded on Monday 4th January 2010. KCB shares traded between 21.00 Kshs (Rwf.158.13 and Kshs 20.25 (Rfw 152.48) to close flat at 20.50 Kshs (Rfw 154. 36).

The NSE all share indexes closed up 0.25 points to close at 71.89.
DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares.
The Bond Market
No transaction was recorded on ROTC market. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.
There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
