Editorial: Let the resolutions be fulfilled

The year is already three days old. Three whole days! Ok, what the heck, it’s just three days. Well, for those who made resolutions at the end of 2009, hard to believe it’s now history, every day counts. Take for example those who said they’d quit smoking. Have they cut down the number of cigarette sticks or have the packs increased in the name of festive inertia?

The year is already three days old. Three whole days! Ok, what the heck, it’s just three days.

Well, for those who made resolutions at the end of 2009, hard to believe it’s now history, every day counts.

Take for example those who said they’d quit smoking. Have they cut down the number of cigarette sticks or have the packs increased in the name of festive inertia?

It’s up to every individual to try and fulfil their resolutions. Hopefully each one of you has set achievable and realistic goals.

They don’t have to be so low in order to be attained as that might not help you realise your full potential.

Nor should they be too high as a mere glance at the height might make you lose courage leaving you to fail even where you could have succeeded.

You know, time is money. Make the most of your time and ensure your resolutions fit perfectly in your time. You have to make the dimes you know. Don’t waste any single second.

Parents, give your children a memorable holiday. Children do the same for your parents or guardians. Promise them great grades in school this year. Work hard, you main job is succeeding in school, the others are secondary.

Alright, happy New Year once again and may the resolutions you set be fulfilled this year.
