This time last year where were you, where do you want to be?

“The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it’s the same problem you had last year.” - John Foster Dulles . Where were you on this day last year? What were you doing? Who were you being? What were your challenges, your triumphs and your failures? What were you proud of? Where are you today? What are you doing? Who are you being? What are your challenges, your triumphs and your failures? What are you proud of?

"The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it’s the same problem you had last year.” - John Foster Dulles

Where were you on this day last year? What were you doing? Who were you being? What were your challenges, your triumphs and your failures? What were you proud of?

Where are you today? What are you doing? Who are you being? What are your challenges, your triumphs and your failures? What are you proud of?

Where would you like to be this time next year? No, really. Take a moment and think about that...

December , 2010.

If this year, you are still challenged by the same issues you were dealing with last year, what are you going to do differently in the year to come to move beyond them?

Imagine where you could be NOW if only you had overcome these problems LAST YEAR!

It’s time to take action. I know for sure that I have made a couple of resolutions before but again I can’t just give up. I will try again. It’s time to take control of your life and start making some serious decisions about what kind of life you want to live.

The important thing is that you make a conscious decision to make something different happen. That’s all you have to do is MAKE THE DECISION.

In your mind, once you have made a decision that’s it. There is no back door. You cut yourself off from any other possible option.

What’s really interesting is that once you do make the unwavering decision to do something, the Universe lines things up to support that very decision.

People, circumstances, thoughts, ideas and solutions "all of a sudden” begin to show up! Then it becomes easy. But first you have to make the decision.

So, I ask you again. Where do you want to be this time next year? "If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”

Don’t just read through this and think, "Yeah, I really should do that.” Make the decision right now - in this moment - that you are going to do things differently then you did last year.

Maybe you can promise yourself that this time around you will follow through with whatever you have resolved to do, no matter what or probably this year you will only agree to do things you intend on following through with.

How about learning to make yourself a priority or you want to stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone…

If these affirmations don’t feel right for you, create the ones that do. The important thing is this; you have got to mean it.

Go back to the beginning of this article and answer the questions about where you were last year, if you can remember. Answer the questions from the beginning of this article about where you are now.

Give yourself the gift of reminiscing about these last 12 months. Answer each question in detail. Give yourself credit where credit is due.

Now look forward to 2010 and answer the questions one last time. Perhaps you are more visual and you want to create a vision board. Or maybe you enjoy writing and you chose to write your vision story.

Give great detail and emotion to this project. The more you can activate the FEELINGS of this vision becoming a reality, the better your chances that it will.
