PLWAs to distribute condoms
People Living With AIDS (PLWA), under their umbrella organisation, Rwanda Women Living with HIV/AIDS (RWLH) has commenced a campaign to distribute condoms in rural areas. Speaking in Rubavu recently, the organisation’s legal representative, Phelomene Cyurinyana, said that her organisation is reaching out to the community mainly focusing on women to act as outreach workers to sensitize their communities on the use of condoms.

Speaking in Rubavu recently, the organisation’s legal representative, Phelomene Cyurinyana, said that her organisation is reaching out to the community mainly focusing on women to act as outreach workers to sensitize their communities on the use of condoms.
The programme kicked off with the training of 22 representatives of women living with HIV in Western Province before it is spread to the rest of the country.
"We have started with the Western province. We are spreading to the whole country and later on become regional,” Cyurinyama said.
