Editor,

I believe that Rwanda is supposed to be at the forefront of everything important globally and not only tourism shows! Let’s be on the frontline of crusading for a global climate pact.

The Copenhagen climate conference is starting amid hope, uncertainty and indifferences from some.

The United States of America,  the highest greenhouse gas emitter, represented by President Bush Jr., showed utter indifference to the Kyoto world climate deal a few years ago. Will President Obama walk a different path?

Let Rwanda be present on global fair climate crusade just as she has been present on the other scenes. We have been on the forefront of issues like world peace and security, governance and the anti-graft, fair global trade and tourism. We must be involved again
