What more embassies in Rwanda mean
Editor, I woke up yesterday morning to read that Japan was opening an Embassy in Kigali. This comes after the DRC accredited a diplomat in Kigali for the first time in years. What I’d like to know is this, what does all this diplomatic mean? Personally, I think that the global community is finally realising that our geographically tiny nation is a country going places.

Editor,
I woke up yesterday morning to read that Japan was opening an Embassy in Kigali. This comes after the DRC accredited a diplomat in Kigali for the first time in years. What I’d like to know is this, what does all this diplomatic mean?
Personally, I think that the global community is finally realising that our geographically tiny nation is a country going places.
While many Rwandans might not be sure about where the country is going, the smart people, internationally, know and understand that Rwanda is the place to be.
That’s why they are opening embassies here; because they want to be part of our exciting future.
