It seems that, in this holiday period, Rwandans are being more responsible. I came to this conclusion when I learnt that apart from two smoke grenade explosions in Huye district, there were no serious crimes during the entire Christmas holiday. This information was availed to me in yesterday’s New Times.

However, I think that we shouldn’t let down our guard. The New Year is just around the corner and it’s a fact that in Rwanda, that is when a lot of alcohol is consumed. I’m urging my fellow Rwandans to celebrate responsibly.
