THE HATER : I hate people who…

…are still talking about Miss Rwanda. I know that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder but this beholder does not have the right to bore me during this Christmas holiday with endless talk about Miss Rwanda. If you are not convinced with the results you can go to court or even buy a crown and give it to the one you wanted to win the contest. If you think the winner is beautiful then that is good for you and you can feel free to shut up now.

Otherwise serious people like The Hater have got more important national issues to attend to than your empty talk. In fact I have to answer my phone now. Oops, it’s Grace Bahati on the line!

…do not want to work during this festive season.
Of course there is no better time to celebrate and have fun than this Christmas season. Some good companies offer their employees a period of leave while elsewhere the employers apply for their annual leave at this time.

The rest continue working so that things do not come to a standstill. However some people take it for granted that they should not be working during this time.

I hate these people so much. If you feel like not working then I can help you prepare a resignation letter. If The Hater of all people can continue hating, then who are you to think that December means sitting home? Get to work or resign now.

…spent all their savings celebrating Christmas.

Surely Christmas is a time for celebration for God sent his only son to save us from evil (Alleluia). I for one went to church then returned home to eat one of the heaviest meals of my life!

Although this is a time for love and celebration for God’s sacrifice, I still have to hate all those who spent all their money and are now complaining of being broke.

Some of you drank all tribes of beer while others ate as if their stomachs were mobile dust bins. Please, please, please!

Christmas is just like any other day and it not the first or even the last day of the year. By the way, even Joseph and Mary never spent all they had when Jesus was born.

…only remember to visit their villages during Christmas.
I know some of my readers are in their villages spending time with their families. The problem is that for some, this only happens in December or when someone in the family dies.

You should be ashamed of this lousy mentality. Christmas is only Jesus’ birthday not a time to travel to the village. This you can and should any time.

If you do not change then I may be forced to ask God to keep you in the village for ever (in a coffin). Your relatives do not only become your relatives in December. Check on them once in a while.

…did not send me any Christmas gifts.
I had decided to remain silent but not any more. This is simply not right. I am totally disappointed by those people who claim to be my friends yet they did not send me any Christmas gifts or even take time to wish me a nice Christmas.

What did I do to deserve this? For all the time we have been friends is this how you have chosen to pay me back? On my side, I wanted to send you messages but I just kept typing the word ‘hate.’

My job of hating makes it tough for me to love. Anyway I am now preparing a new friends’ list and if you know you did not wish me well or send me a gift then you are not my friend anymore.

Let me help you hate by sending your suggestions to
